This way you can decide for yourself whether you want to choose the simple and cheap (and charming) accomodation together with the group – or rather book a single room for yourself with all comfort at a local B&B.

 


Venue of the main programm 1.-5.8. (Summer week – Retreat seminar, Mediation research): Sun Observatory, Harestua

Location: Sun observatory Harestua, about 30 minutes to the North from Oslo, at 600 m altitude in a forest and lake scenery.

How to get there: Direct flights from Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Amsterdam, Bucharest from 35 € (norwegian.com, wizzair.com, ryanair.com);
Arrive in Oslo-Gardemoen (main airport), Rygge or Sandefjord-Torp; from there take the shuttle bus or the train.

Venue Main programme 1.-5.8.:

Sun observatory Harestua solobservatoriet.no

Way description: Train from Oslo to Harestua, then walk the nature path (“natursti“) in 45 mintures or take a taxi (tel +47  613 22 500). More info and maps to download in Norwegian here.

Accomodation:

  • Primarily in the sun observatory;  there is place for up to 50 people – however, mostly group rooms (f.ex. 6 beds).
  • As a low cost alternative, you are welcome to bring your own tent (10 €)

Seminar house Kinnsåsen at Lake Årungen, Syverudveien 50, 1430 Ås (30 km south of Oslo) (nearby the venue of the prelude: Bee seminar)

  • Group rooms in the seminar house (20-40€)

We stay mainly at the Permaculture-farm Alvastien,  Map: Steinstø at Flyksefjord (facebook:alvastien). From here  daytrips and smaller excursions to different places nearby.
